Press F9 or click on the Pay Trip icon on trip window tool bar. You may record deposits this the Pay Trip window.
If you have a credit card authorization account setup either in PC Charge Pro or Authorize.NET, you process credit transactions just like a terminal but with the advantage of increased productivity, less data entry errors and more control.
To pay a trip a credit card, you select the credit card number to charge and click the Process button. In a few seconds, you will an approval or decline message. If transaction is approved, LimoWiz will record the payment.
A transaction may be voided if not settled (batched). If settled, and you need to issue a credit, use the Issue Credit button at of payment window and you optionally enter a credit amount.
You may also pre-authorize a credit card then post authorize it later. Pre Authorize does not mean the money will be deposited into your bank account, you would need to do a Post Authorize to capture the Pre Authorization for laster settlement.
Settlement is with PC Charge is dependant on the credit card authorization company, you're dealing with. Some do an auto close of the account, like Nova, some require you to settle manually. PC Charge has an Auto-Settle utility on the CD. Contact PC Charge technical support at 1-877-659-8981 for installation instructions.
Authorize.NET is simpler and you can configure it to auto close at a certain time. Check your settings online. |
