Trip Window components and features:
| 1. | Main Window. Here you enter the overall information required by LimoWiz. For example: |
| 2. | Account Number, Contact Name, Passenger, Pickup Date, Drop off Date, and Trip Charges, etc. |
| 3. | LimoWiz utilizes Auto Complete. It's completes text as you type, saving you time, speeding data entry and reducing errors. It's active for Acct No, Contact, Passenger Last Name, To (City). |
| 4. | For example, if you have a long name like CONTINENTAL, and you type CO, LimoWiz fills in the rest automatically. Imagine the savings in the number of keystrokes. |
| 5. | Routing Window (Pickup & Drop Details). Here you enter pickup and drop off details, flight information and any notes for a particular trip. Points of interest like Hotels can be entered and retrieved from the miscellaneous data file. |
| 6. | Flight information can be entered easily using a pop window that utilizes the Auto Fill feature to speed data entry. The list of airlines and major cities that airlines fly from/to are usually stored in databases. You can add/edit those databases. |
| 7. | After a driver completes a trip, you need to click on the Settle button on the first trip window. Here you assign the driver and indicate if a trip is settled, i.e., completed. You can enter payroll information like commission, hourly pay or flat rate. This must be done before jobs are billed. If a trip is paid in cash or by a credit card, it must be settled then a payment must be recorded. When a trip is settled, you can bill customers and print an accurate driver's payroll report. You can also record mileage information and the total mileage is automatically transferred to the assigned vehicle file. |
| 8. | Pay trip, i.e., record payment received for jobs paid in cash or credit card etc. |
| 9. | To record payments for an invoice with multiple trips, use the A/R button to pay all or some of the trips. Various pay method can be selected. |
| 10. | Hint: If you use PC Charge Pro and want to pre-select which credit card to use, click on the Account Credit Cards or Passenger Credit Card button on the trip payment window, and click on the Use Card button. Then you do not have to guess which card to use when payment time comes. This is especially important when an account has multiple credit cards on file. |
| 11. | Live/Dead miles: Live when car is moving. Dead miles when vehicle is not moving. |
| 12. | Duplicate trip by entering new dates and times. |
| 13. | Once a trip is entered, LimoWiz generates a sequential number starting at 100001 and it is incremented as you add new trips. |
| 14. | Various reports can be printed once a trip is saved: trip tickets, Confirmation sheets, |
| 15. | Single sheet Invoices and Wedding, Prom and Event Contracts. These are all from one source - the trip you entered. No special handling is required. |
