Prices - Trip Zone Setup

Initially, you need to enter your Airport Codes and codes for popular destinations:
See the Browse menu - Airport Codes and Names.
Examples: JFK, LGA, NYC, EWR, LAX, BWI, METRO, PENN STATION.

After doing the above, click on the Rates button on the main toolbar.

Here you enter your basic (flat) price for the SEDAN service type, which is entered as shown in the image below.

The Service Type database contains a field called: Amount to Add to Basic Rate.
For SEDAN, set value to 0.00. For all other types, it is the difference between the SEDAN and the new service type, for example: LIMO 6 PAX, the difference amount may be 30.00, for the LIMO 8 PAX, the amount may be 50.00, and so on.

A Trip Zone is basically a description of From/To destination.  Note the Slash (/)

For example: TO enter the trip zone for Rockaway Township to Newark Airport (EWR), enter:
ROCKAWAY/EWR

Note: Each account can have rate table and service types. A trip zone can also have its own service types. This will provide the utmost flexibility.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE:

The price of the Trip Zone should be the BASIC RATE for the SEDAN service type or whatever you wish to your basic rate to be based on.

In the following example, we are adding ROCKAWAY/EWR.

To create a reversed trip zone automatically, click the "Create a Reversed Trip Desc" checkbox.
Other options may entered to customize the trip zone to your particular needs.
