LimoWiz Settings LimoWiz Settings and Preferences. Click on the File menu and select LimoWiz Setup and Preferences. Alternately, you may click on the Settings icon on LimoWiz's toolbar.
There are several tab pages with options that will affect how LimoWiz behaves. This will allow to customize certain aspects, actions and behaviors when you're running LimoWiz, form example, trip calculations, billing, etc Set the options that meet you needs. Below is a sample of the first tab page on the Settings window. There are several tab pages: Trip Settings 1 ;and Printer / Fax /Email / Application. Each page contains option that you may want to change or select that are suitable for your company, like trip option, billing options, contract terms and conditions, etc. Check the options you need to take effect when entering trips. Dispatch window settings: The dispatch cut-off time is important to avoid over looking trip after mid-night. Next day's trips that are between 12:00AM (midnight) and time specified (like 03:00AM) will displayed on today's dispatch window. You may also have LimoWiz display today's dispatch window when you open LimoWiz. You can also display the Dispatch window in Split mode, which displays the trip routing (pickup and drop off details) at bottom of window. As you click or move to a different trip, corresponding routing information is displayed. See the following screen: Billing Settings: Here you set the Statement/Invoice Title and the message that appear at bottom of invoices depending on account status. The allow you to get LimoWiz default messages. Note: Voucher billing should only be used if you use trip vouchers. Usually, if trips are not settled with the driver (finalized), the driver will not paid on payroll report and the customer will not be billed for those unsettled trips. See the first two check boxes in above window. Finance calculations settings, statement/invoice logo, and message. Early/Late Hour Settings: Contract Terms and Conditions: Various types of contracts may have different terms and conditions. These print at bottom of contract. The contract relevant information are also printed, like tip date, time, passenger info are also printed. Contracts are printed using the Print button on Dispatch Window and from within the Edit Trip window. Application/Email/Printer/Fax Settings: Fax Printer Driver: allows you to set the fax printer driver to use when printing various reports like trip tickets, invoices, etc. Faxing printer drivers (software) can be any software that installs its printer driver as a Fax under the Windows printers list, such as WinFax Pro, HotFax or Windows XP Fax Service. The XP Fax must be installed manually using the Add/Remove Programs in Windows Control Panel - Windows Components. PDF Printer Driver: allows you to set the Adobe Acrobat compatible printer driver software so you can print a report to PDF driver and output the print out to a PDF file. You can email the PDF file to your customers as an attachment. Customer need to download free Adobe Acrobat Reader from www.adobe.com. Email Program to Use: allows you to set the email program to use. LimoWiz supports two programs Outlook and Outlook Express. If you can send and receive email in either program, sending email from LimoWiz should be quick and easy. All email send from LimoWiz will go into the Sent Items folder of Outlook or Outlook Express. If you have a Firewall, make sure LimoWiz allowed to access the Internet. Map It Link: Defaults to MapQuest.com in the USA. There are three more links for the United Kingdom Last Trip # should not be changed. LimoWiz generates Trip Numbers automatically and start at 100001. Dynamic memory is set at an optimal level and should not be changed.
